If your drawer has a front panel, remember that space is also important. To ensure that the slide rail does not prevent the drawer from being completely closed, make sure that the slide rail is backward from the front of the cabinet. For example, if the thickness of the front panel is 1.5 cm, consider setting the slide rails 2 cm from the front of the outer wall of the cabinet.

The installation process can be made easier by using slide rails with disconnection function, such as AOSITE three section ball bearing slide rails. The slide rail can be disassembled to separate the part suitable for the cabinet (external component) from the part suitable for the drawer (internal component), allowing them to be installed separately. You can then reconnect two separate components to install the drawer.

If you do not use the ball slide with disconnection function, it is strongly recommended that you ask someone to help you install the ball slide. The slide rail without disconnection function needs to be fully unfolded to expose all fixing points, and the drawer may need to be supported when it is fixed in place. In this case, pre drilling is usually recommended to help accurately locate the slide.

After installing the slide rails and drawers, open and close them several times to ensure that everything is working properly. If the drawer does not move correctly, check that all aspects of the installation have been completed correctly, as there may be problems with alignment or installation.
