Stainless Steel Hinge Maintenance

Stainless steel hinges are an important component of furniture such as wardrobes and cabinets. Daily flexibility is inseparable from the good maintenance of stainless steel hinge structural parts, so we need to do the daily maintenance of stainless steel hinges. The maintenance techniques for stainless steel hinges we introduce to you today are as follows:

Stainless steel hinges must often clean and scrub the decorative stainless steel surface, remove attachments, and remove external factors that cause modification. When installing, hold the hinged iron cup and slowly close the hinge like closing the door. Remember to be slow. If you think this hinge is smooth and not obstructive, even try a few of them and try to avoid damage to the stainless steel hinge during use.

In order to keep the hinge smooth, we need to add a small amount of lubricating oil to the hinge regularly. Just add it every 3 months. Lubricating oil has the functions of sealing, anticorrosion, rust prevention, insulation, cleaning impurities, etc. If some friction parts of the stainless steel hinge are not properly lubricated, dry friction will occur. Practice has proved that the heat generated by dry friction in a short time is enough to melt the metal. Provide good lubrication to the friction part. When the lubricating oil flows to the friction part, it will adhere to the friction surface to form an oil film. The strength and toughness of the oil film are the key to its lubrication effect.

When opening and closing cabinet doors and other hinged furniture, you should open it gently, and don't use excessive force to avoid damage to the hinge.
