Now, even manufacturers in Chengdu, Jiangxi, and other places are trying to buy hinge parts from Jieyang at a low cost to assemble or produce hinges themselves. While this trend has yet to gain significant traction, it is undeniable that with the rise of the furniture industry in Chengdu and Jiangxi, it has the potential to grow further. The accumulation of experience and expertise in the Chinese hinge industry may also drive the development of manufacturers in their hometowns.

Additionally, anti-dumping measures by certain countries like Turkey have led to increased collaboration with Chinese companies for processing hinge molds. This, coupled with companies from Vietnam and India secretly entering the game, could impact the hinge world.

Thirdly, the poor economic environment and reduced market capacity, coupled with rising labor costs, have led to increased competition and frequent low-price traps in the hinge manufacturing industry. Many hinge enterprises suffered losses last year and had to sell hinges at a loss to survive. Cutting corners, reducing quality, and cost-cutting measures have become the go-to options for companies without brand recognition. However, such practices lead to fancy yet useless hydraulic hinges flooding the market.

Fourthly, the uncertain market conditions have resulted in low-end hydraulic hinges being priced similarly to ordinary hinges, leading to an opportunity for many furniture manufacturers to upgrade. However, customers who have experienced the pain of poor-quality products may opt for branded products, which could increase the market share of large hinge brands.

Fifthly, international hinge brands are actively entering the Chinese market. In recent years, top international brands in hinge and slide rail manufacturing have increased their marketing efforts in China. This restricts the opportunities for local Chinese hinge companies to penetrate the high-end market and influences the purchasing decisions of large furniture companies. Therefore, Chinese enterprises have a long way to go in terms of product innovation and brand marketing.
