Hinge is one of the commonly used hardware for panel furniture, wardrobe, cabinet door. The quality of hinges directly affects the use of wardrobe cabinets and doors. Hinges are mainly divided into stainless steel hinges, steel hinges, iron hinges, nylon hinges and zinc alloy hinges according to material classification. There is also a hydraulic hinge (also called damping hinge). The damping hinge is characterized by a buffering function when the cabinet door is closed, which greatly reduces the noise generated when the cabinet door is closed and collides with the cabinet body.
Method for adjusting cabinet door hinge
1. Adjustment of door covering distance: the screw turns right, the door covering distance decreases (-) the screw turns left, and the door covering distance increases (+).
2. Depth adjustment: adjust directly and continuously through eccentric screws.
3. Height adjustment: Adjust the appropriate height through the hinge base with adjustable height.
4. Spring force adjustment: Some hinges can adjust the closing and opening force of doors in addition to the common up-down and left-right adjustments. They are generally applied to tall and heavy doors. When they are applied to narrow doors or glass doors, the force of hinge springs needs to be adjusted based on the maximum force required for door closing and opening. Turn the adjusting screw of the hinge to adjust the strength.
