Installation Techniques of Cabinet Hinges: Steps

1. Before installing cabinet hinges, first determine the size of cabinet doors and the minimum margin between cabinet doors;

2. Use the installation measuring board or woodworking pencil to line and position, generally the drilling margin is about 5mm;

3. Use a woodworking hole opener to drill a hinged cup mounting hole with a width of about 3-5mm on the cabinet door plate, and the drilling depth is generally about 12mm;

4. The installation skill steps of cabinet hinges are as follows: the hinges are sleeved in the hinge cup holes on the cabinet door plate, and the hinge cups of the hinges are fixed well by self-tapping screws;

5. The hinge is embedded in the hole of the cabinet door panel, and the hinge is opened and then sleeved on the aligned side panel;

6. Fix the base of the hinge with self-tapping screws;

7. Check the installation effect of hinges by opening and closing cabinet doors. If the hinges are adjusted in six directions to align up and down, the doors will be adjusted to the most ideal effect when the two doors are left and right.
